WHAT ARE THE SAFETY RULES TO FOLLOW AND WHAT ARE THE USAGE ADVICE YOU SHOULD KNOW?
First, pay attention to the power of the pressure washer. A high-pressure cleaner incorporates a device to modulate the pressure of the water released by the device. On certain surfaces, you must be careful not to use this tool at full power as this could cause damage. Great caution is required, particularly when cleaning the facades of your home, as the paint or plaster could come off. Too much pressure on the roof and the car could lift and break previously cracked tiles, or risk splitting a pre-existing impact on the windshield.
HOW TO PREPARE THE HIGH-PRESSURE WASHER?
The different elements that make up the high-pressure cleaner must be assembled, either by screwing or by clipping. In particular, you must connect the gun to the cleaner on one side, and the cleaner on the other to the nearest cold or hot water supply. As such, it is advisable to use cold water for dirt, and hot water for grease and oil stains. Finally, you must connect this electrical device to a power outlet. The cleaner also contains a tank into which you can pour a compatible detergent, which will be mixed with water before spraying.
HIGH-PRESSURE WASHER SAFETY RULES
You should always hold the pressure washer gun with both hands, as the power of the jet can sometimes be surprising. Also, make sure to respect a minimum distance of at least 30 cm between the gun and a painted surface to avoid any damage. Always wear protective gloves and goggles, especially if you have added detergent to the mixture, against the inevitable splashes. Never direct the jet towards people or animals.
